I'm not a chocolate maker or retailer. I'm a nutritionist who has worked with kids and families for eons and am on the faculty of a medical school. That said, I despise "nutrition-speak" and spend lots of time translating health and medical info into user-friendly lingo. My interest in chocolate? Simple -- I know people like to eat stuff that tastes good and they want to feel good about it, too. Also, the best eating style balances what we know we need with what we don't want to live without. Chocolate scores on both fronts. Even if it isn't currently a "health food", I wouldn't recommend any diet that couldn't include some dark chocolate every day.
