Hello, Could somebody please advise me how to quickly polish chocolate moulds. I have seen somebody use a drill with a polishing pad on it. Are there any other ways to polish lots of moulds to get a real shiny result. Much appreciated for any replies.
I have heard of the drill technique but have never seen a soft polishing pad that would fit a drill and I looked! Were these being used for bonbon molds or bar molds?
One shortcut I know really works is to use cotton balls lightly wetted with (cheap) vodka.The vodka should be flavorless and the alcohol will quickly cut any fat in the mold (reducing labor) and evaporate quickly.
