Brrr… it’s pretty cold out these days, isn’t it?
Well, maybe I shouldn’t be talking. I’m typing from California, where it’s 61 degrees and sunny during the afternoons. But I know most of the U.S. has been hit with some pretty hardcore winter storms. A friend from Alabama was telling me that it took him two days to make it home last week!
As a native New Yorker, I’ve had my fair share of winter storms and blizzards, so I can sympathize. One of my favorite ways to sit out a snow storm is with a good book, and a bowl of hot soup and biscuits. Soup has a way of warming you up nicely, and I’m sure we could all use more warmth right now. So, I’ve gone and found some healthy soup recipes to help put the circulation back into your fingers and toes. Enjoy!
